Description

The semi-active two-chamber material lock with x-ray protection is specially designed for use in pharmaceutical production and clean rooms up to cleanroom class ISO 5 and up to GMP class A. It is an effective solution for the fast and efficient transfer of various materials and products. The sluice can be equipped with up to 5 mm of lead to provide the required shielding of adjacent areas. 

The clear separation of the upper and lower chambers allows transfer processes to take place in parallel. Upon request, the lower sluice chamber can be manufactured without a threshold, allowing material to be brought into the lower chamber using a transport trolley.

The well-designed ventilation concept within the sluice ensures maximum cleanliness directly at the product. A slight overpressure within 
the sluice chambers prevents the ingress of external contaminants.

The material sluice features a double-walled construction and flush-mounted doors on both sides with radiation protection glass. The doors are sealed circumferentially with a silicone gasket. The lower sluice chamber can optionally be equipped with a drop-down floor seal. In addition, the door hinges can be adjusted in three dimensions.

The inner chamber and the housing are made of brushed stainless steel. The material sluice can be integrated into a cleanroom wall 
or mounted on a height-adjustable base frame.

The supply air is provided by the on-site HVAC system and enters the sluice chambers in a filtered condition via an integrated HEPA filter, 
following the principle of low-turbulence displacement flow. The exhaust air is discharged into the less clean area through an undercut beneath the door.

The purging of the sluice is also suitable for removing disinfectant residues. All internal and external surfaces of the material sluice are resistant to standard cleaning and disinfecting agents and are suitable for daily cleaning
