The active gas-tight fire lock EI60 consists of a gas-tight fire revolving door EI60 and a GMP lock chamber with a GMP lock door . Depending on requirements, the fire lock can withstand fire for up to 60 minutes. The active gas-tight material lock is specially designed for use in pharmaceutical production facilities and cleanrooms up to cleanroom class ISO 5 and GMP class A.

It is an effective solution for the fast and efficient inward and outward transfer of various materials and products. The active material locks operate independently, meaning the supply and exhaust air are not connected to the HVAC system. The well-designed ventilation concept within the lock ensures perfect cleanliness directly at the product. A slight overpressure within the lock prevents the ingress of external contaminants. Flushing the locks is also suitable for removing disinfectant residues.

The interior chamber and body are made of polished 1.4301 stainless steel . All corners and edges are deburred and welded. The material lock can be installed in a cleanroom wall or mounted on a height-adjustable base frame. The air supply is provided by a radial duct fan integrated into the technical structure.

The supply air flows vertically from the technical structure through a HEPA filter into the interior of the lock, using the principle of low-turbulence displacement flow. The exhaust air is extracted by the exhaust fan in the lower area of the perforated interior walls of the lock. The supply air filter is replaceable via the interior of the lock.

All surfaces inside and outside the material lock are resistant to conventional cleaning and disinfection agents and are suitable for daily cleaning.
