Description

The semi-active material lock is specially designed for use in pharmaceutical production and clean rooms up to clean room class ISO 5 and up to GMP class A.

It is an effective solution for the fast and efficient inward and outward transfer of various materials and products. The sophisticated ventilation concept within the lock ensures perfect cleanliness directly at the product. A slight overpressure within the lock prevents the ingress of external contaminants.

The material lock consists of a double-walled construction and safety glass door elements flush-mounted on both sides. The doors are sealed with a circumferential EPDM gasket. Furthermore, the door hinges can be adjusted three-dimensionally. The flushing of the locks is also suitable for removing disinfectant residues.

The inner chamber and body are made of ground stainless steel 1.4301 . All corners and edges are deburred and welded. The material lock can be installed in a cleanroom wall or mounted on a height-adjustable base frame.

The supply and exhaust air is provided by the on-site air handling unit. The supply air flows vertically from the technical structure through a HEPA filter into the interior of the airlock, using the principle of low-turbulence displacement flow. The exhaust air is extracted through the on-site air handling unit in the lower area of the perforated interior walls.

All surfaces inside and outside the material lock are resistant to conventional cleaning and disinfection agents and are suitable for daily cleaning.
