The ingress of external contaminants is prevented. The entire GMP airlock consists of a double-walled construction, through which the exhaust air is directed back to the on-site ventilation system. The exhaust air volume can be adjusted using internal dampers located in the lowest airlock chamber to regulate the pressure.
The flushing system within the lock also allows any disinfectant residue to be quickly removed. The doors are made of safety glass and sealed with a circumferential gasket. A signal light indicates the status of each door. Each individual door can be opened using a request button or, optionally, via electronic (personalized) access control. A display/control panel is located at the top of the 5-chamber material lock, allowing various settings, such as the lock opening times, to be adjusted. An attached "EMERGENCY STOP" pushbutton allows the doors to be opened in an emergency.
The lock chambers and outer body are made of ground stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A) as standard and can optionally be made of ground stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) . All corners and edges are deburred and tightly welded, allowing all surfaces to be easily cleaned.
All surfaces inside and outside the material lock are resistant to conventional cleaning and disinfection agents and are suitable for daily cleaning. The material lock can also be easily converted into a

The 5 – 10 chamber material locks are delivered ready to plug in and can be connected to the 230 V mains using a Wago-Winsta plug.
