The semi-active 10-chamber material lock with EI30 fire protection requirement is specially designed for use in pharmaceutical production and clean rooms up to clean room class ISO 5 and up to GMP class A.
This GMP airlock is integrated into a fire-resistant cleanroom wall. In the event of a fire, the entire airlock is automatically closed on the fire-resistant wall side by an EI30 fire door , protecting the areas behind it.
The EI30 revolving door is ideally integrated flush into a recess and remains open at all times, as long as there is no fire. This is made possible by a holding magnet that keeps the door permanently open. The door drive is linked to the fire alarm control panel and only closes in the event of a fire.
The 10-chamber EI30 material lock for GMP areas is an effective solution for the fast, efficient entry and exit of various materials and products. The well-designed ventilation concept within the lock ensures perfect cleanliness directly at the product level. A slight overpressure inside the entire lock prevents the ingress of external contaminants. The entire material lock consists of a double-walled construction, through which the exhaust air is directed back to the on-site ventilation system. The pressure can be adjusted using internal slide valves located in the lowest lock chamber. The flushing within the lock also allows for the rapid removal of disinfectant residues. The doors are made of safety glass and are sealed with a circumferential gasket. A signal light indicates the status of each door. Each individual door can be opened using a request button or, optionally, via electronic (personalized) access control. A display/control panel is located at the top of the 10-chamber material lock, allowing various settings, such as the lock opening times, to be adjusted. An attached "Emergency Stop" pushbutton allows for emergency opening of the doors.
The lock chambers and outer body are made of ground stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A) as standard and can optionally be made of ground stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) . All corners and edges are deburred and tightly welded, allowing all surfaces to be easily cleaned. All surfaces inside and outside the material lock are resistant to conventional cleaning and disinfection agents and suitable for daily cleaning. The material lock can also be easily integrated into a clean room wall. The 10-chamber material lock with EI30 fire protection door is delivered plug-in ready and can be connected to the 230 V mains using a Wago-Winsta plug.
