The passive gas-tight fire lock EI60 consists of a gas-tight fire revolving door EI60 and a GMP lock chamber with a GMP lock door. The lock is specifically designed for use in pharmaceutical production facilities and GMP Class C and D clean rooms ; it is not connected to any ventilation system.

The material lock consists of a double-walled construction. The GMP door is made of flush-mounted safety glass and sealed with a circumferential EPDM gasket. The hinges can be adjusted three-dimensionally. The fire door can withstand fire for up to 60 minutes, depending on requirements, and is gas-tight. The interior chamber and body are made of ground stainless steel 1.4301 . All corners and edges are deburred and welded. The material lock can be installed in a clean room wall or mounted on a height-adjustable base frame.

The supply and exhaust air is provided by the on-site air handling unit. The supply air flows vertically from the technical structure through a HEPA filter according to the turbulence-free principle.
Displacement flow into the interior of the lock. The exhaust air is extracted from the lower area of the perforated interior walls of the lock by the on-site air conditioning system.

All surfaces inside and outside the material lock are resistant to conventional cleaning and disinfection agents and are suitable for daily cleaning.
