The silicone foam profile 25 × 15 mm (HBZ00698) is the door leaf seal for the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group in the fire protection version EI30 / EI60. It is positioned all the way around the joint between the door leaf shells and is compressed by the pinch edge of the door frame when closed.
In the fire protection version, the inner door leaf shell is designed to be narrower because the intumescent fire protection material HBZ02269 is additionally applied all around. The 25 × 15 mm profile, which is wider than the standard seal, compensates for this offset and ensures a gas-tight seal.
Gas-tight fire doors are always designed with a 5-point locking system and five door hinges. As a seal, the profile is subject to operational wear and is required as a spare part during maintenance and repairs. The profile is supplied by the meter; the required length can be specified in meters in the shop.
