The silicone foam profile 22 × 13 mm (HBZ00692) is the door leaf seal for the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group in the version with 1-point locking. It runs all the way around in the gap between the door leaf shells and is compressed by the pinch edge of the door frame when the door is closed.

Doors with 1-point locking only have a latch mechanism on the lever handle. The required tightness can only be achieved in this design with a softer seal: the closed-cell foam profile deforms evenly even at a lower contact pressure and lies completely against the pinch edge. In contrast, the solid profile HBZ00694 is used for standard 3-point locking.

The silicone foam is closed-cell, resistant to peak temperatures of up to approximately 200 °C, and elastic down to approximately −40 °C. As a seal, the profile is subject to operational wear and is required as a spare part for maintenance and repair. The profile is supplied by the meter; the required length can be specified in meters in the shop.
