The 1.4305 locking wedge (BTZ00304) is a spare part for the door frame of the sealed and gas-tight swing door from HT Group. It serves as the counterpart to the door leaf's sash fastener: when closing, the roller of the sash fastener runs up the lead-in bevel of the locking wedge, pressing the door leaf with its circumferential silicone seal against the crimped edge of the frame. This is what creates the permanent gas-tight seal of the door.
The locking wedge is bolted to the inside of the door frame and is adjustable together with the associated eccentric. The contact pressure of the door leaf can be readjusted via the eccentric – for example, during commissioning or after replacing the silicone seal.
As a mechanically stressed component, the locking wedge is subject to operational wear and is required as a spare part during maintenance and repair. The part can be used for both DIN left and DIN right-opening doors.
