The round magnetic contact (ELE01869) monitors the position of the door leaf of tight or gas-tight hinged doors and reports to the control system whether the door is open or closed. The contact is installed flush in the door frame, and the corresponding permanent magnet is located in the rollers of the door leaf.

The reed contact is designed as a changeover switch and connected with three cores. The cable is 10 m long, allowing it to be routed to the on-site terminal box without intermediate clamping.

As standard, one contact is installed in the door frame. For increased monitoring requirements, up to three contacts per door are possible. The magnetic sensor cover TZG01079 is used for the gas-tight covering of the installation opening.
