The PTFE sealing washer (HBZ04286) seals the screw connections of the inspection cover on the door leaf of the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group. It is placed under the head of the M6 screws (NOR01541 or NOR00696) and compressed between the screw head and the cover when tightened.

The PTFE gasket HBZ02343 seals the surface between the inspection cover and the door leaf. In addition, the sealing washer ensures that every individual screw connection is also gas-tight. It has a rectangular cross-section, an outer diameter of 12.5 mm, a bore of 6.0 mm, and a material thickness of 1.0 mm.

PTFE is largely chemically inert and can be used in a temperature range of −200 to +260 °C. We recommend checking the sealing washers for damage each time the inspection cover is removed and replacing them if necessary.
