The emergency button (ELE00750) is the red mushroom pushbutton for emergency release of the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group. When actuated, the door lock is released, allowing the door to be opened.

This allows ongoing release times to be interrupted – for example, the pressure equalization time in a personnel airlock or the shower time in a decontamination shower. The signal evaluation and the release of the lock are performed via the on-site control system or the central building management system control cabinet.

The button is a momentary-contact type, meaning the signal is only active while it is being pressed. If a latching version is required, which remains in position after being pressed and is unlocked by turning, the emergency button ELE03011 should be used.

Installation takes place in the door frame face, as standard 1,600 mm above the finished floor level. The emergency button is screwed into the adapter nut; the adapter nut itself is then pressed into the cutout of the door frame face using its snap-in function.

Emergency release for gas-tight hinged doors (GDDT) in laboratory, cleanroom, and safety areas.
