The magnetic sensor cover (TZG01079) seals the installation opening for the magnetic contact in the door frame of the gas-tight hinged door. After the contact has been installed, it is bonded gas-tight all around using silicone and sits flush with the frame surface.

The cover is made of ground stainless steel 1.4404, matching the surface of the door frame and door leaf. It is resistant to the cleaning and disinfectant agents commonly used in laboratories and can be wiped clean easily.

One cover is required per magnetic contact. If the magnetic contact is dismantled, the cover usually needs to be replaced, as the silicone bond must be detached.
