The eccentric for closing wedge 1.4404 (BTZ00066) is the adjustment element for the closing wedge in the door frame of the HT Group gas-tight hinged door. It is inserted into the mounting hole of the closing wedge and bolted to the door frame together with it.

Turning the eccentric changes the position of the closing wedge and thus adjusts the contact pressure of the door leaf against the peripheral silicone seal: turning clockwise moves the door leaf toward the frame, while turning counter-clockwise moves it away from the frame. The adjustment is performed with a slotted screwdriver after the two M8 hex socket screws have been loosened slightly.

The eccentric is required during commissioning, after replacing the silicone seal, and during maintenance and repair work. One eccentric is required per closing wedge; the part is equally suitable for DIN left and DIN right opening doors.

The 1.4404 stainless steel version is designed for areas with increased corrosion stress, for example with frequent wipe disinfection or when using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), Virkon™ S, and Micro-Chem Plus. The dimensionally identical version in 1.4305 stainless steel is available under part number BTZ00029.
