The strike wedge 1.4404 (BTZ00305) is a spare part for the door frame of the sealed and gas-tight hinged door from HT Group. It forms the counterpart to the cam lock of the door leaf: when closing, the cam roller runs over the lead-in bevel of the strike wedge and presses the door leaf with its circumferential silicone seal against the crush edge of the frame. Only then is the permanently gas-tight seal of the door created.

The strike wedge is screwed onto the inside of the door frame and can be adjusted together with the corresponding eccentric. The contact pressure of the door leaf can be readjusted via the eccentric – for example, during commissioning or after replacing the silicone seal.

As a mechanically stressed component, the strike wedge is subject to operational wear and is required as a spare part during maintenance and repair. The part can be used for both DIN left and DIN right-opening doors.

• The version in stainless steel 1.4404 is intended for areas with increased corrosion stress, for example with frequent wipe disinfection or the use of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), Virkon™ S and Micro-Chem Plus.
