The self-adhesive fire protection material Kerafix Flexpress (HBZ02269) is a fire protection component for the door leaf of the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group in the EI30 / EI60 version. It is applied to the door leaf perimeter.

The fire protection material has intumescent properties based on expandable graphite. It begins to foam at approximately 140 °C, reaching 22 to 35 times its original volume. The resulting expanding body seals the gap between the door leaf and the door frame, thereby limiting the passage of fire and smoke. The effect is three-dimensional; the expansion pressure is at least 0.55 N/mm² at 300 °C.

Because the strip adds thickness to the inner door leaf shell, this shell is designed to be narrower in the fire protection version. The gas-tight seal is provided by the wider silicone foam profile HBZ00698. The strip is laminated on one side with a black PVC film and is self-adhesive. It is supplied as a 2,500 mm long strip and sold individually.

Replacement and service component for gas-tight hinged doors (GDDT) in laboratory, cleanroom, and high-security areas.
