The eccentric for striking wedge 1.4305 (BTZ00029) is the adjustment element for the striking wedge in the door frame of the gas-tight hinged door from HT Group. It is inserted into the mounting hole of the striking wedge and bolted to the door frame together with it.

Turning the eccentric changes the position of the striking wedge, thereby adjusting the contact pressure of the door leaf against the peripheral silicone seal: turning it clockwise moves the door leaf towards the frame, and counter-clockwise moves it away from the frame. The adjustment is made with a slotted screwdriver after the two M8 hexagon socket screws have been slightly loosened.

The eccentric is required during commissioning, after changing the silicone seal, and during maintenance and repair work. One eccentric is required per striking wedge; the part can be used equally for DIN left and DIN right opening doors.
