The effeff 1049.10 RR compact lock is an electric furniture lock with a door status contact, particularly suitable for the electric locking and holding of pass-through doors.

In conjunction with an appropriately configured control system, the lock keeps the door closed until it is electrically released. The potential-free changeover contact reports the open/closed status of the door. This function is suitable, for example, for material pass-throughs between hygiene areas, where both doors should not be opened simultaneously.

The fail-secure or fail-safe operating mode is determined during installation by the orientation of the rosette, meaning one spare part covers both switching types. Thanks to the integrated holding function, mounting in the 32 mm furniture grid, and a tensile strength of 1000 N, the lock is particularly suitable for areas with high requirements for controlled access, door monitoring, and rapid replacement.
