The Cleanplus M16 × 1.5 mm cable gland (ELE03386) provides a sealed entry for the safety switch connection cable into the door leaf and door frame of the gas-tight hinged door. It features a hygienic design and is therefore suitable for areas requiring regular wipe-down disinfection.

The gland body is made of 1.4404 stainless steel, the internal parts of 1.4305 stainless steel, and the sealing insert is made of silicone. The cable gland is EHEDG-certified and achieves IP68 protection up to 15 bar as well as IP69.

The sealing range of the cable gland is for cable diameters from 6.5 to 8.5 mm. The required number depends on the door configuration; a maximum of five glands are used per door.

Replacement and service component for gas-tight hinged doors (GDDT) in laboratory, cleanroom, and high-security areas.
