When closed, the raised profile rests on the beveled 7 mm threshold, ensuring the necessary seal.

The low threshold is used for large gas-tight swing doors that are crossed by trolleys and transport carts. The sealing profile bridges the gap between the bottom edge of the door leaf and the threshold; the molded contact surface with a 45° bevel follows the contour of the threshold.

Doors with a low threshold are designed with long hinge pins so that the door leaf does not have to be removed when replacing the bottom seal. The profile is made of solid material and is therefore very durable; there is hardly any wear during regular operation. We recommend checking the seal regularly and cleaning it in accordance with the applicable hygiene plan. In the event of mechanical damage, the profile is available as a spare part. It is supplied by the meter; the required length can be specified in meters in the shop.

Intended use

Replacement and service component for gas-tight swing doors (GDDT) in laboratory, cleanroom, and safety areas.

Typical areas of application are:

Cleanrooms of classes ISO / GMP D to A

Safety laboratories of levels S3 to S4

Material locks with trolley and transport cart traffic

Personnel locks with traversable threshold

Passageways and material transfers

Research and institutional buildings

Features

Material: silicone

Profile height 33 mm, profile width 13 mm

Molded contact surface with 45° bevel for the beveled threshold

Hardness 25–30 Shore

Color signal gray, similar to RAL 7004

Dimensional tolerances according to DIN 7715 E2

Available by the meter

Replacement possible without removing the door leaf, thanks to long hinge pins

Technical data

Material: silicone

Profile height: 33 mm

Profile width: 13 mm, base area up to 14.4 mm

Bottom contact surface: 9 mm wide, with 45° bevel

Hardness: 25–30 Shore

Color: signal gray, similar to RAL 7004

Dimensional tolerances: DIN 7715 E2

Sales unit: Sold by the meter, length selectable in meters

Installation position: Door leaf, bottom edge (7 mm threshold)

Weight: approx. 0.30 kg per meter

Part number: HBZ01138

Price per meter
